Success is defined as either, the accomplishment of an aim or purpose OR the good or bad outcome of an undertaking.
What does Success & Money mean to you?
Usually, one thing entrepreneurs don’t really ask themselves before they start their businesses is “What does Success mean to me?” Success means something different to each one of us. We also think of different aspects of our lives when we think about success. What is success in our career? Our business? What defines success for you? For many of us, it relates to money. How much do we have right now? And how much will we be receiving? How much money does success mean? I read a lot & the following message from Louise Hay stands out for me. She believes that you would never be able to create prosperity by talking or thinking about your lack of money. We are all trust-fund babies of the universe, there is more than enough to go around and create abundance for everyone. If you spend the time focussing on what you do not have, you create more lack for yourself. A continuous thought frame around gratitude brings abundance.
When it comes to money, we learn everything about what we know from our parents. Now I am not saying that this is wrong, however many of the words we hear & what our parents & their parents use or have used around money isn’t entirely going to result in guaranteed prosperity. Louise Hay says there are a few negative affirmations and attitudes that are guaranteed to keep prosperity beyond your reach-for example: “I never have enough money!” That’s a terrible affirmation to use. Another unproductive one is: “Money goes out faster than it comes in” or “Money does not grow on trees.” How many times have you heard these? Plenty I am sure. This is poverty thinking of the worst kind. The Universe can only respond to what you believe about yourself and your life. Examine whatever negative thoughts you have about money, and then decide to release them and let them go. They haven’t served you well in the past and will not serve you well in the future. I find this very interesting & helpful when working with my clients. Their attitudes toward money and what they deserve often dictates their path. Sometimes people think that their financial problems will be solved by inheriting money from a long-lost relative or winning the lottery. Louise says this is scarcity thinking, or poverty thinking, and it won’t bring lasting good into your life . The problem with money acquired in this way is that it rarely solves any problems. Why? Because it doesn’t involve changing your consciousness. In effect, you’re saying to the Universe: “I don’t deserve to have good in my life except by a fluke chance.” I believe that this kind of thinking applies to all areas of our lives and if you would like to change, then start by changing your thinking and use of words. Words are magical and can really allow the abundance of the universe to flow towards you. Start by becoming aware of the beliefs that could be blocking the flow of money in your life. Change those beliefs and begin to create new, abundant thinking thoughts. Be the first person in your world to do this, even if no one has ever done this. You can open your mind to the concept of money flowing into your life.
Here are two prosperity affirmations from Louise Hay that you can use daily. They are: “My income is constantly increasing,” and “I prosper wherever I turn.” I have found that by using positive affirmations daily and practising often, the changes in my life have been substantial & I am very grateful for that. Remember that there is so much abundance in the world, that all we need to do is recognise that and share! Imagine we all thought like that, what a different world we would live in. This last paragraph is very comprehensive on affirmations, so try them & may they work for you and radiate prosperity into your world. I AM A MAGNET FOR MONEY.
